Margaret Hagan
Advisory Board Member
Margaret is the Executive Director of the Legal Design Lab, a Research & Development group at Stanford Law School that partners with courts, legal aid groups, government agencies, and others to pilot new ways to make the justice system work better for people.
As part of their work, the Legal Design Lab builds new interactive, usable tools for navigating legal services (like websites, apps, bots, and shared data infrastructure); creates engaging visualisations of law; and designs how legal organisations can be made more collaborative and innovative.
Margaret’s main passion is how to use Human-Centred Design and technology to increase access to justice for all while also teaching classes and running workshops which focus on the design process and legal design specifically.
