Join Portable and our panel discussion around ‘creating the conditions for co-design’.

About this Webinar

We believe there’s a need in the sectors we work in for honest conversation around the very real challenges and opportunities of bringing co-design into the way organisations like yours engage with people.

The event will balance a commitment to human-centred values with a good dose of pragmatism. We want to help people define a vision for co-design in their context, and take the next few meaningful steps on their journey (while avoiding some of the common pitfalls.)

Discussion topics

The idea of this panel discussion is that it’s an honest look at bringing co-design into organisations and government departments. It’s not intended to be showing off how organisations do co-design perfectly, but to discuss the challenges, benefits, and signals of hope that co-design can bring to the way organisations engage with people.

  • We will start by understanding where each panelist’s organisation is at with co-design, and what kinds of projects they use it for
  • We then will discuss the challenges of doing co-design styles of engagement in their context/operating environment
  • We then will discuss the benefits of doing co-design, signals of change and hope in their organisations
