Ready for Growth gives small and medium Victorian businesses a tailored growth assessment, an individual action plan, and a matched shortlist from more than 150 available government services, instead of leaving them to hunt through disconnected programs on their own. For Business Victoria, Portable's service design helped the program launch on time in April 2022, in time to start supporting the 1,000 high-growth businesses it was built for. The rebrand to Genomical gave Melbourne Genomics a brand and a suite of communications that could speak to policymakers, clinicians, investors and patients in each group's own language, replacing a name tied to one state with one built to support a national and eventually global rollout. For patients, that expansion means more consistent access to genomic data informing their own healthcare, wherever in Australia they live. Sweep gives retail workers without a union rep or HR team to turn to a plain-language way to check whether they're being paid correctly under the award, and to prepare for a conversation with their employer if something's wrong. Sweep is our initiative, grant-funded and launched in 2026, just as intentional wage underpayment became a criminal offence in Australia, giving businesses and workers alike a practical way to act on a problem that's now urgent for both.
