# Sam Lanyon

Sam has built a career taking technology-rich products to global markets, with experience across strategy, sales, and operations. As International Sales Director at Vision BioSystems, he established the company’s sales, marketing, customer support, and service operations across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia Pacific.

After the acquisition of Vision by Danaher Corporation, Sam ran the European commercial operations of Leica Biosystems before returning to Australia to co-found Planet Innovation in 2009. Alongside his current role as GM of Innovation at Planet Innovation, Sam also serves as the Chair of ASX listed Lumos Diagnostics and holds advisory roles with SG Hiscock, Paragon Funds Management and Portable.
